FOR SALE:

5 year old Gray Paso Fino gelding. He is purebred, and WAS registered, but I was not given his papers. I know his papered name, but do not know his lineage. He is absolutely gorgeous and is the "Fabio" of the horse world - he thinks he's all that, with his long, full mane and tail; refined bone structure, and high steps! Haha... Well broke and EXTREMELY gaited! Smooth as silk and lots of Brio - he will take you down the road all day long, and have energy left over. Has been ridden on 4 and 7 mile rides and it doesn't phase him at all, just hits his gait and goes. Leads, loads very well in a straight 2-horse, bathes (not fond of water, but tolerates it), and ties - though he doesn't like standing still. My favorite thing about him (well, besides his heavenly gait!) is that he doesn't paw his food bucket! He actually takes bites and eats calmly out of his bucket... such a rarity it seems. He's the only horse I have ever owned that wasn't a messy eater that acted like they'd never seen food before.

He is a little guy, at maybe 13.2 hh, but his previous owner easily tipped the scales at 250 lbs, plus a charro saddle. Santana never missed a beat and the size didn't seem to bother him a bit. He weighed about 600 lbs when he was gelded.

Santana is easy to catch, saddle, and bridle. He is barefoot, but may need shoes (pony size) if you take him any place really rocky, as the quartz rocks we ride on down dirt roads tend to make him tender. All other footing he's perfectly fine with. He is OK for the farrier - tugs a little on his back feet, but nothing more. He is UTD on EWT and West Nile, and has a clean Coggins (I will have to locate it, but he was bought within the last 4 months and it was a new Coggins when I bought him). Gets dewormed every 6 weeks. He was only recently gelded and has calmed down considerably, but still gets a little vocal and dancy around the girls. He was used for breeding before I purchased him, so he's well aware of what his duties were - getting gelded has certainly done a lot of work on him, but it will take a little more time before it is completely gone from his system. The vet said give him at least 6 months before he should be almost completely normal for a gelding - we are at month 3 and he is well on his way.

He is performance-bred, which means he is a speed gaiter; he can really get going and you'd be amazed at how fast he can go! He has a soft mouth, responds well, and goes as fast or as slow as you want him to - I would say an intermediate rider could handle him, as long as they are aware that he does get dancy around mares. He is manageable - no rearing, no bucking - but he does get a bit testy. I have never ridden him with a group of horses, so I honestly cannot say how well he would do, or if he kicks at others. I just don't know as I have always ridden alone. He willingly and quietly leaves the barn, goes where ever you want him to, but he tries to speed up when he knows the barn is around the corner. Not at all scared of dogs, cars, trucks, motorcycles, or Semi's. He is a very good trail horse on the road and through the woods. I have a large dog that goes with us, and he doesn't even pay attention to him.

I really enjoy this little guy's ride, but I am getting in desperate need to purchase hay and he is a horse I just don't need. I have a Paso Fino mare that came with him (it was a package deal), and our personalities match better, so I enjoy riding her more. I don't need 2 gaited horses as I don't spend enough time with them as it is, so that is why he is for sale. I need the money to have quality hay shipped in from out of state, and his sale will allow me to do so, along with purchasing a few less hay bales since there's one less mouth to feed.

I am asking $1000, and his gait is WELL worth it - you will not find a better ride for the price! However, I am willing to negotiate for a quick sale as I only have a few round bales left for the rest of my working horses.

They are fed grass year round- pasture during the Spring/Summer/Fall and coastal/alfalfa hay during the Winter and times of drought.
My family has been eating are own beef and it is phenomenal! After you taste the hamburger, you will never eat fast food again! Remember when cooking, grass fed beef is not as fatty as store bought/grain fed meat; therefore, cook at lower temperatures and never on a direct flame to prevent dry out.

I have Blaptica Dubia feeder roaches for sale. These are a great species of roach that are easy to care for, and your reptiles / amphibians are going to love. They do not climb glass, they cannot fly (the females do not have wings), not noisy, and easy to care for. You can buy as many or a little as you want.

I am offering breeding colonies, but if you are looking to breed these guys I would not start out with less than 100. You will be getting some adult pairs, and mixed size if you do decide to buy a started colony. If you are buying for just feeders then you will be getting only males if you choose the larger size.

Pretty is just one description for her. RainBar is a 15.2hh mare. Rain has some awesome Paint & QH lineage for someone who is intersted in pedigrees.

She would best for an intermediate rider, or a rider that is not going to let her pull stunts. She is registered in the Pinto horse registry and can be registered in the Paint horse registry.

I've used her for Drill Team, but she just didn't have the 'heart' and 'drive' needed for the EXTREME speed of Drill Team. She seems to prefer just being a trail horse.

She has been ridden by children on trail rides (but she has figured out that if the child is not firm enough she can just stand still). She does not have the desire to runaway, so she could make a good kids horse.

Buckskin stallion made it into the pen with her...so may possibly be bred now. (No guarantees on breeding)
The stallion is an extreme buckskin Curly with foundation breeding. He stands about 15.3-16hh and has sired 3 previous foals. Two were bay & white pintos, and the most recent one born 4/13-2009 is a chocolate bay(also for sale)(bottom left picture)---all were born with curls. There is a very good chance that the foal will also be curly and could be hypo-allergenic. North American Curly Horses (also known as Baskir Curly Horses) are known to be hypo-allergenic, and is the ONLY breed with this distinction so far.

I live between Seguin & Nixon and am generally available on a Sunday if you would like to come out and see her. She is UTD on shots & Coggins.
