2010 Nissan Sentra SR in great shape. Both engine and transmission were recently replaced. Both were obtained from https://sanantoniojdmengines.com/ and have between 55,000-65,000 miles on them. They import engines and transmissions directly from Japan. I am a certified ASE mechanic and inspected both prior to install. They both look great. The engine had no internal varnish which means it was well maintained. Which is great because one of the achilles heels of this car is the piston rings wearing out prematurely because of lack of maintenance. It is imperative oil is changed when it is time and it does not go over. I would recommend full synthetic and not going over 6000 miles between oil changes. If it goes over, it's not the end of the world but it will start burning oil and mpg will go decrease (you can Google more about this if you like). Currently getting great mpg at 32mpg and not burning oil. Transmission was also serviced (fluid and filters (2x)) upon installation. Nothing out of the ordinary found in the previous fluid/filters. It is also imperative that the transmission be serviced every 30,000 to 40,000 miles. These Nissan CTV Transmission catch a bad rap because they are known to go out. However, when serviced as they should be, they are actually quite remarkable. The problem is people don't service them and then want to blame the transmission but in reality, it's their own fault. Hello… What did you think I was gonna happen?! As long as this transmission is serviced as per manufacturer's recommendations and only Nissan NS2 fluid is used, it will last a very long time. Note: Nissan has released a technical service bullet (TSB) in regards to filling these transmissions to the correct level. Wherever you have the Transmission serviced, I advise you to question them about this TSB to make sure they know about it and will follow it. It is imperative that it is filled correctly. Fairly easy to do as long as you have the TSB and follow it. If you so choose, I can also perform the service for you. All the motor mounts and transmission mount were replaced at same time as engine and transmission.
I have also replaced all the components of the front suspension/steering as well as the rear suspension. Included where front/rear subframe support bushings (fairly large repair actually) control arms, swaybar
The interior is in great shape. There are no tears or stains on the upholstery and all the trim looks pretty good. I did upgrade all of the radio components. All the speakers have been upgraded to high-quality kicker speakers and there is a high-quality android head unit that has been installed as well. It does have wireless CarPlay and android Auto which makes things so much easier. Also installed is a subwoofer that mounts out of the way inside the spare tire (spare tire and jack/tools also included of course )as to not take up any truck space. Sub also has stand-alone remote gain, boost, and frequency controls. Stereo system sounds pretty phenomenal actually. Highs, mids, lows conduction with the DSP are very crisp and refined. Front speakers are three-way and rear speakers are two-way. The android head unit is a digital sound processor (DSP) and allows for fine-tuning to user likes. It also has a working reverse camera installed. Headlight assemblies are also brand new and include upgraded LED bulbs. The fog lights are also new upgraded LED and the color matches the headlights. The catalytic converter was also replaced at the same time the engine was replaced. It is performing great.
The entire floor from front to back including the entire trunk (360°) and fender wells have been insulated and soundproofed with Siless Hybrid 3in1 system. This is a multifaceted sound damping, sound proofing, and sound absorption system. It makes a big difference in the car. You can read more about this with an easy Google search if you like.
I'm sure there are some things I'm forgetting as I have practically rebuilt this car from the ground up. Oh, all tires are newer Michelin Cross Climate 2. They have maybe 10,000 miles on them. All glass in great shape with no dings or cracks. Rear and all door windows have brand new ceramic tinting installed. Tinting is at the darkest legal level all the way around. Although it is hard to see out of the rear window at night, the reverse camera makes it easy to back up. I would not have tinted the back window of the dark without a reverse camera. I was planning on keeping this car forever but in reality it's my fourth car and I really just don't need it. I'm tired of pain insurance on it and it's really not driven all that much anymore. Figured I'd let somebody else enjoy it. I am firm on the price. I know it's got quite a few miles on the cluster but in reality this is practically a new car with a lot of upgrades and extras and a verified dependable engine and transmission; as long as they are serviced regularly shouldn't have any problem with them.
